2. What do you want your target market to take away from your mission statement? How do you
want them to feel about your organization?
"...fostering a compassionate, inclusive, and innovative campus environment that empowers students to take control of their health..."
1) I believe this is a strong mission statement for my organization because I tried to effectively articulate most of the components on page 59 in a short mission statement. The mission statement identifies the basic services provided: accessible, preventative health services and education. The primary market is students, as it emphasizes student well-being. The mission highlights organizational goals such as long-term sustainability and growth, suggesting that the organization continually aims to improve and expand its services. The code of behavior that guides the organization's operation is embedded in the commitment to compassionate care, inclusivity, and innovation. The self-evaluation within the statement is empowering students and promoting a healthy campus environment. Lastly, the 5th component is how the public
image views the organization. Hopefully, they see it as a progressive, forward-thinking and inclusive resource with a strong reputation

2) I hope that students come away with the understanding that IUI Health and Wellness is a compassionate, inclusive, and innovative provider of health services, who is committed to their well-being. Accessibility and preventative care is there for students before issues arise, and education empowers them to take control of their health. I want students to feel empowered and supported to seek care and make decisions about their health.
